Conversations with Meisha
Conversations with Meisha:
After a dental appointment this morning I dropped Meisha off at school and went to the office with her to get her tardy slip and show her excuse and the secretary told her to take her slip to the homeroom teacher .... as we were walking out it went like this :
Me: Meisha, Do you want me to walk down to your room with you?
Meisha : "No, you can go on home I will be ok . I am not that little girl anymore mom."
Me: "oh.... ok I will miss you today."
Meisha : " I know but it won't be that long and we will be back together in just a few hours since we came in late."
LOL.. I think at that moment, I became the child and she was reassuring me that we would be back together real soon, like the conversations of long ago when I would drop her off at daycare.
