My sweet Purpose is sick ...could be a stomach virus. This will be the first one she has ever had.

My Purpose

My beautiful Purpose, I hope she knows how much she means to me. My life has been affected with the loss of Kenzlei more then I can cope. I hope that my life can begin to be a "new" normal and I can get back to life with my Purpose...For now I will just hang on to my memories.

Today my beautiful niece passed away.  Words cant describe my despair. ..she left behind 3 children under 8 years...she was more than a niece she was more like a daughter...I love you Kenzlei

On the way to school this morning we were discussing the planned activities they are having next week...where the kids dress up as different things on different days ... so it went like this.
Meisha: I don't have no idea what I am going to be on animal day.
Me: We will find something don't worry.
Meisha: I can't help it...I would wear that butterfly dress but it makes me look fat!!!

Happy Birthday

To Meisha's Birthmother,
Seven Years ago today you had a baby and for reason unknown to me someone decided she wouldn't be staying with you. This I don't understand or condemn. I wish I could thank you, thankful that you or someone place...d her somewhere safe so she could be found. I wish I could tell you what a wonderful girl she has become. I wonder about you, I wonder if you saw the black and white grainy picture that was placed in the paper seeking the parents of this beautiful child about 6 weeks after you gave birth, did you see it? I wonder do you have that spunky attitude or those auburn streaks in your hair in the sunlight or do you get your feelings hurt easily like she does. I look at her everyday and I wonder am I seeing you through her? I really think so....all these things that make her Meisha didn't come from me they came from you. I have taken great measures to find you so I can tell you these things unfortunately; I cant find you. I wish someday to find you and Thank you in person for bringing this beautiful child in the world I hope you are safe and happy and that somehow you know Qi Jia Te is safe and happy and that she has brought great joy to me.

Me: "Yes I guess, you don't want me to go without makeup."
Meisha: "No"
Me: "Why not?, do I look like a sea hag without makeup?"
Meisha: "No you just look like you have been washed up on shore."

The end of the school is coming soon, my sweet girl loved it but hated getting up. Today I am going to get her early so she can see her travel buddy get 2 new sisters from China, we are very excited.

Me: What did you eat for lunch today?
Purpose: I don't know.
Me: Then what did Mathew eat for lunch?
Purpose: Well.....He gave me his ham, 6 pistachios and 1strawberry!

She has been eating part of this little boy's lunch everyday for months. :)

Flu season is upon us!

My sweet baby was sent home from school yesterday with a high fever so today I took her to doctor..it is so upsetting to see her sick... so I will just post some pictures of her from the weekend, when she dressed herself to go to my cousin's birthday party she was so proud that she got to pick out her own outfit...and I was too!

We spent a wonderful Chinese New Year,  our girl got to perform a traditional dance with other children adopted from China, she also got to the spend the evening with cousins who are her best pals...The evening is very special to us and she has the best time..
